Anyone using the CM12U under Windows 2000?

If so, HELP!
Following a power surge, I lost my main server yesterday :-(
Fortunately, the data volumes were backed up, but not the O/S or the
applications.
Trying to rebuild, and running into problems with xAP/CM12.
I can see it catching the incoming xAP message, and building the CM12
command string, but then it retries sending down the serial port
three times, and then gives up.
What are the port settings I need?
