Hello Folks,

Here we go, yet another new toy to play with!

<a href="http://www.xapframework.net/xAPImages/Viewer1.jpg";>http://www.xapframework.net/xAPImages/Viewer1.jpg</a>

Some of you may have used the old xAP Listener application, which is
just a basic console window that xAP messages were output onto as they
arrived. Too many of those and whoosh, the message you were interested
in seeing had disappeared.

With xAP network traffic increasing for many of us now Listener has
long since had its day. I actually wrote it initially as a test
harness for xAPFramework itself, so it's survived way longer than it
should have.

xAP Message Viewer is an all new application built upon
xAPFramework.NET. It shares a lot of code in common with the new GUI
xAP Hub I released yesterday so for anybody that's looked at that,
you'll recognise it all immediately.

This is much better though :))

For one thing it displays the entire tree of xAP network
devices/applications that you've got running and has improved
filtering capabilities so you can just see certain event sets. Here's
a sample screenshot:

MUCH more detail on it (documentation shocker! Sorry, in-joke ;-) can
be found here, including many screenshots - so it's a little tad image
heavy.

The application can be downloaded the bottom of this page:

I'll be posting some follow-ups to this in the coming days as there's
a LOT more to be added to this one.

Any bugs, problems, comments, requests, do let me know,

S
