xAP Homevision (Windows) - Alpha Testers required

Well, the xAP HomeVision controller is working for us... now we need
some Alpha testers.

This is a Windows (VB6) application and talks directly to HomeVision
down a serial port.

That is to say, this is _NOT_ something that uses the HomeVision
software - it needs full control of the serial port, so you can't run
it and the CSI HomeVision software at the same time.

In terms of use, it's a straight plug replacement for Patrick's CM12U
code.

There are a few limitations and requirements.

Limitations:

- Only works if HV is attached to COM1
- Only currently supports sending command FROM xAP TO X10
--- won't report back anything it hears on X10
--- doesn't (yet) do anything like transmit IR codes
- Doesn't support targetting, just sends everything

Requirements:

- Windows (only tested on 2000, welcome other versions)
- Patrick's xAP ActiveX control
- The Visual C library that that control requires

Future developments in the pipeline (in rough order of likely
development)

- Add ability to select serial port at start time
- Add ability to send pre-learnt IR commands on request (requires
schema)
- Add ability to control output ports (requires schema)
- Add configuration of source, and support targetting to that
- Add ability to report X10 messages back TO the xAP world
- Add ability to report input port state back to the xAP world
- Add ability to report IR triggers back to the xAP world
