Re: xAP Hardware?

The Rabbit-based serial controller is in beta testing - and seems to
be holding up fine. The question of firmware personalities is
something we need closure on - as things stand, TES are pretty much
ready to ship the board configured as say, a xAP Meridian
controller... OR as a xAP ethernet <-> serial bridge OR as a
xAP "send any serial message" controller... but the aim is to
have
the personality configured at install time, not manufacture.

The PIC boards are pretty much there - some work is needed on
calibration of the temperature sensor so that the figures are correct
rather than just "relatively true".

What is the interest? Would people be willing to _pay_ for a pre-
release version and accept that there may be some bugs???

Regards,

Mark
