Looking for some advice and suggestions.

=20

We are due to have some major building work done (big extension) and
taking=
the opportunity to =E2=80=9Crefresh=E2=80=9D the rest of the house in term=
s of lighting, decorating, network, etc.

=20

Looking at what options are currently around to automate lighting and
curta=
ins.

=20

The work doesn=E2=80=99t stretch to a re-wire (not needed), so not
feasible=
to go for systems that require star-wiring to central control modules.

=20

After mainly single-room mood lighting control

- down-lighter dimming

- wall/table light dimming (running from wall sockets)

- curtain control

=20

Control to be

- replacement wall =E2=80=9Cswitches=E2=80=9D (i.e. with scene-setting
butt=
ons)

- handheld remote

- dawn / dusk control

- possibly smartphone / API integration (main interest is making the house
=
looked =E2=80=9Clived-in=E2=80=9D)

=20

=20

Thoughts / suggestions appreciated =F0=9F=98=8A
