I used "loft legs"=C2=A0https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B017Z80ZYU
which look m=
uch like the "lofty" ones you mention. I had large floorboard
sized chipboa=
rd in the loft which was a nightmare to lift and replace on my own! The
end=
result seems sturdy enough.
The loft legs seemed quite good in that you could pre-screw the screws
into=
the loft leg which made is easier to hold it in place with one hand and sc=
rew it in with the other.
But yes, it's never pleasant dealing with fibreglass :(=C2=A0 Long
trousers=
, long sleeved top and a face mask helped.

Has anyone actually used any of these solutions for fitting loft boards in

modern lifts that have the stupid thicknesses of insulation and have any

commendations for what to use and what to avoid?
I=E2=80=99ve been looking at these two solutions but have no idea which is

likely to be the best solution or if something else would be better - both

look as though they=E2=80=99ll leave me with severe fibreglass rash from

aching between the top layer of insulation trying to anchor the bloody

gs to the beams... :-)
