Just had this issue to deal with myself ... solved it with a NetGear
AIrCar=
d 782S (which gives me a portable hotspot I can use anywhere) and the
NetGe=
ar DC112A docking station that has SMA connectors for WiFi antennae and
TS9=
connectors for 3G/4G antennae.

The AirCard itself also has sockets for an external antennae too.

Seems reliable so far ...
