RE: SIP service for Comfort alarm / SOHO use?

I've been using mydivert.com for many years, mainly for inbound DID
termina=
tion; for outbound I tend to use 12voip.com, also for many years.
I have both UK (London) and Spanish DID numbers with mydivert - however
the=
y're not as cheap as the one you mention below. Something to watch out
for=
is that a fair number of countries now require proof of
"residency" before=
they will allocate a geo-located number.

Cheers
Graham

Thanks Alex, I looked at Sipgate, being one of the names I was already
fami=
liar with, however from what I could see, it was very UK centric, and
could=
not provide me with a Norwegian phone number in additional to a UK one, so=
I discounted them.

I too am considering a cheap & cheerful grandstream ATA, so it's good
to he=
ar that you're satisfied with its quality.

One of the providers I'm looking quite closely at now is http://www.termina=
tion.worldcall.be/main.php/ which looks like they allow you to add DID
numb=
ers at will from almost anywhere in the world, so I could rent an Oslo
numb=
er for 1.23 euro/month plus a London number for 1.29 euro/month...

Anyone familiar with this company?

Cheers. :)

I have a few sipgate inbound numbers and with a bit of fiddling you can
get=
them to run into an asterisk PABX.

Not tried an outbound call, but audio quality of the inbound is good to a
f=
airly basic grandstream sitting on my office desk so see no reason that
the=
outbound wouldn't be similar.
