Odd question...

Does anyone know if there are regulations on new build houses for
restricting the temperature of baths and showers?

The current GF has just moved into a new build and the kitchen sink can be
hot enough to remove skin yet the bath - if I run it with just hot water -
is like-warm at best so I was wondering if there's some kind of
thermostatic limit on baths and bath water to stop you pickling children or
whatever?
