Node-RED, IFTTT and what else?

Afternoon All,
So I used to be a big HomeSeer and Z-wave fan, but I've moved on to the
wor=
ld of hue lighting given the bulbs having the radios.
I'm getting fed up of IFTTT as I want IF this then that AND .... AND .....

and also to make some more complex checks at the IF end of the recipes on

here.
Having read back through the recent posts I've decided I need to have a

k at Node-RED is there any other online or local type solutions people
woul=
d recommend.
Probably the most complex rules I want are ones based round sunset, so I'm

even tempted to a Pi with a combination of AT and cron schedules as that

ould be fairly stable once setup!
