You might be able to get an independent installer to do it? I believe sky
h=
ave to supply the LNB that Sky Q needs though? (At least that was the case

when I checked when sky Q first came out).
Also worth checking Mark - have you re-negotiated your contract? We were
pa=
ying =A374month and managed to get it down a fair bit with a re-contract
(e=
ven though we were still in the original 2 year contract). I=92m sure you=
=92ve already sorted this though!

Hi guys,
Merry Xmas.
A combination of issues with W7 Media centre, poor TV reception and
Murdoch=
selling out has made me think the unthinkable and consider getting TV via=
$ky.
I have been told by $ky that they can't install a dish because of trees
adj=
acent to my house. They could install the dish on the other side of the
ho=
use but the engineer said he "didn't think" there would be any
signal (it w=
as 5PM, Friday before Xmas and it was raining heavily!). I now can't get
$=
ky to come back and do the install - his hunch seems to be final - despite
=
checking that the dish would see clear sky using a "special tool
(TM)" (spi=
rit level, laser pointer and 25 degree wedge).
Before I get all hissy about it and start felling trees I understand that
S=
kyQ might be available via IP soon - that would appear to be my best bet -
=
I have reliable 40Mb/s Fibre, but I can't get any indication of when it
mig=
ht be available other than press releases dated Jan 2017 saying coming in
2=
018.
Any ideas/help etc.
