I&#39;ve tried sat nav apps but they don&#39;t work so well for
me:<br><br>1. My phone is linked to my car stereo for hand-free
phone calls and music, so using it as a satnav means audio from app
interrupts music. It&#39;s not a good user experience.<br>2. I
can&#39;t lend the app to other people. I can lend the satnav to wife
and children.<br>3. The TomTom mount is much better than most phone
mounts, with quick release magnet mount.<br>4. A phone based satnav
can get too warm with screen on all the time.<br>5. Phone satnav
drains battery when I might want to be charging my phone. It charges much
quicker with the screen off.<br>6. TomTom has own memory and SD card
slot for other maps so no need to use loads on your
phone.<br><br>I&#39;ve tried all the phone based satnav
apps and they just don;t work so well for me.&nbsp; I much prefer a
physical device and the Go 6200 works brilliantly for me.&nbsp; I like
that it is part of my
smart home too ;-)
