RE: BT Home Hub 6 as only a modem?

The BT HH5 has a DMZ option under Firewall settings. This is disabled by
de=
fault. Enabling this should route all traffic to a fixed IP address, that
d=
oesn=E2=80=99t get handled by the HH5 firewall. Setting the WAN port on
the=
Vigor to this address and not connecting any other device to the HH should=
achieve what you want. I would imagine the HH6 has a similar feature.

T Home Hub 6 as only a modem?

Is this possible?

For the BT Home H=
ub 6 to be just a modem and let me use my Vigor for routing, wifi, dynamic
=
dns, etc.

My vigor has an ADSL modem but not a VDSL one, but it does have=
a WAN port.

I've searched the set-up screens, and followed the Draytek=
guide (albeit for a different vigor model, and perhaps the openreach modem=
rather than hub 6) but I can't get it to work.

Googling didn't throw u=
p much, apart from reviews, for the hub 6...

Any help appreciated!

=
Thanks,

Tim.
