BT Home Hub 6 as only a modem?

Is this possible?
For the BT Home Hub 6 to be just a modem and let me use my Vigor for
routing, wifi, dynamic dns, etc.
My vigor has an ADSL modem but not a VDSL one, but it does have a WAN port.
I've searched the set-up screens, and followed the Draytek guide (albeit
for a different vigor model, and perhaps the openreach modem rather than
hub 6) but I can't get it to work.
Googling didn't throw up much, apart from reviews, for the hub 6...
Any help appreciated!
