Re: Improving WiFi Coverage

Yay for a Phil review ;-) (Know exactly the type of client you're dealing
with)....

So, am I right in saying the consensus is:

1) Hard wire (Not Ethernet over mains) wherever possible.

2) EoM if it works for you =3D=3D good luck, but don't bank on it, and
point-in-time snapshot isn't indicative of real world
performance/reliability.

3) Devolo / Ubuquiti =3D reasonable WiFi coverage for *impossible* to cable
regions (listed building, can't touch certain walls :( )

4) High end managed WiFi kit for truly performant wireless connections
where nothing else is possible. (Ruckus is great, but way too expensive for
*my* home needs; love it at client premises, but need to find something
more within budget for the guest bedroom that has no 4G/3G/struggles to
pick up wireless due to Metre+ thick internal walls )

At the risk of repeating FP's question, any suggestions on how to deal with
scenario 4 (on a budget)? ....

Thanks,

R.
