Media Centre Replacement?

Hi All,
It's coming to that time......
Looking at alternatives to Win7MCE! I still like the MCE 10' Interface,
and it has great WAF.
However, it's becoming unreliable (might just need a rebuild, but I'm
reviewing options at this time).
Key requirements:
1) Simple UI - IR Remote control (Other API/IP/Serial Interface is a
bonus).
2) Ability to view/record/timeshift live TV (minimum 2 HD tuners, 4 would
be a bonus).
3) Integration with Catchup services.
4) Easy nav for browser based content (Ted Talks, Channel 9 etc)
Would be great if it's extensible (would like to tie the
lighting/heating/blinds into the TV UI (PinP/Overlay), intercom/door entry
phone on-screen, incoming caller ID overlay etc).
Any recommendations (hardware/software)?
All suggestions welcomed :-)
