Re: Improving WiFi Coverage

Hi Jon,

I ditched my BT Home Hub and use a Draytek Vigor modem/router.
To extend coverage to a couple of rooms I have a Belkin router wired back
to (essentially) the Vigor. The Belkin came from freecycle so cost me
nothing.
Both devices have the same SSID and password but are set-up on different
channels.
For what we use it for, it works fine for us.

My F-I-L has the plug-in wireless extenders and he's not particularly happy
with them (slow speed, connections dropping).
If you can possibly run a cable, then do so.

HTH,
Tim.
