I think that the 'problem' is that HomeVision was just so bloody good

The whole concept of cloud-attached controllers scares the crap out of me
b=
ecause then you're ultimately reliant on the good grace of the
manufacturer=
s to maintain their services.
I'd happily dedicate a computer to a 'software HomeVision' if there was
one=
available - HomeGate was / is brilliant but I can't use CBus wireless here=
due to all the foil backed wallboard.
