I did indeed have a little http://www.cnet.com/products/lepai-lp-2020a-plus/
in the spares bin...

So now I actually do also get independent volume control of the 2nd pair,
which is nice. There's a fair bit more "spaghetti" up on top of
that
cupboard now, plus I guess having the wall-wart powered all the time wastes
a bit more juice than a passive speaker switch, but I do at least turn the
amp itself off from its on-board on/off switch when I don't need the
"B"
pair of speakers running (helps to not have that bright blue ring glowing
all the time too!)

The only facility I don't get in this arrangement, is the ability to have
the "B" pair only... I can have either "A" or
"A+B", but frankly, for a
solution that cost me nothing, I really don't care!
