Hi Pete,

If you don't get any joy with the optical fibre I used to run one of these
in the house. It's not _too_ big...

And they're are smaller "eyes" available.

They're normally powered by a sky box but this one also takes a 12V feed,
so perhaps could run it direct from the battery?
