I=E2=80=99ve just watched the pod cast version and I must admit - its a
lit=
tle confusing where they are going with these new =E2=80=98MacBooks=E2=80=
=99. We still have one of the older white poly carb models that eventually

got dropped because the price of the new =E2=80=98air=E2=80=99s came down

o the same price as the old white =E2=80=98MacBooks=E2=80=99 so that name
w=
as dropped.
Now with this new redesigned version - its thinner than the
=E2=80=98air=E2=
=80=99 (which was all about being the slimmest macbook at the time) so the

=E2=80=98air=E2=80=99 brand has been nulled out but isn't the Duel Core M
C=
PU not as beefy as the I5 /i7=E2=80=99s you can get for the airs?! So its
a=
lesser powered machine ?
Does make you wonder where they are going with this lot. Will the airs as
w=
e know it finally get pushed out=E2=80=A6 or did they have an issue where
t=
he air was priced too low for production / profit?
Bit of a puzzling notebook line up now :-/
