Re: Fibre broadband presentation, and extending to router

I have been with Plusnet for several years now and been happy with them.
I=
had copper connect and changed to fibre this year (unlimited 38Mb option).

Plusnet posted the router to me (fits through standard letterbox). When
th=
e BT engineer arrived he brought the fibre modem with him (needed for
plusn=
et but not BT). He swapped the faceplate of the master and set up the
mode=
m and the Plusnet modem which connects to the BT modem via a CAT5 cable.

I have to be honest, didn't check the modem to faceplate connection. I've
=
not looked at extending the cable as the modem, router and my Neohub all
si=
t behind my TV. The only problem I've had was loss of access to the
Neohub=
. Moving the Neohub away from the router by a few inches resolved that.
