The core AI engine works with text. The speech to text bit is enabled by
iOS and Android on mobile devices but I plan to have a small device with
local speech recognition at some point and this is another project
I'm planning.<br><br>My focus was on the text
interaction, primarily for use when out of our home. It is agnostic to the
transport and currently works with XMMP, SMS, WebSockets & HTTP.
This bit is all hosted on our home control system
locally.<br><br>Just because we can control everything via this
interface it does mean we will. Our smart home was designed to be zero
touch as much as possible with everything just working intelligently around
us. All the lights for example just know when to be on or off based on
light sensors, occupancy detection and adaptive
schedules.<br><br>I may look at commercial opportunities later.
For now I'm just enjoying the coding.<br><br>Rob
