I'm now clear on how to do the dimmed part
Ie
Between 11pm and 6am if motion is detected then turn on light at 20%
brightness
for example (assuming you can give dim level commands to the dimmer).
If the light switch is used to turn the light on can that automatically go
to
full brightness or will the light simply turn on to the last set sim level?
Obviously we could cease to use the switch all together and rely on the
motion
detection and set to 100% brightness during the day but inevitably someone
will
use the switch through habit hence trying to understand the behaviour.
Feels like it's time to get a zwave usb stick and a device or two and start
playing!
