<div>Paul,</div><div><br></div><div>I
agree this is easy to achieve in
Z-Wave</div><div><br></div><div>Required is a
controller HC2 or most other hardware controllers should also have this
functionality. Noel, I don't know much about Indigo but again I would say
any Z-Wave enabled software controller would also do
this.</div><div><br></div><div>I know I sound
like a Fibaro fan boy but they have a nice mini ball type PIR with lux and
inbuilt temperature sensor which maybe worth looking
at.</div><div><br></div><div>With a
controller, dimmer module and the Fibaro PIR ball you could set the
controller to only switch the light on when the lux level is below a
certain level and only during certain defined times. Or at different
brightness depending on time of day. i.e in the early hours bring light up
slowly to a low level. When you go to bed you may want a full level
etc......<br><

<div>Hi Noel,</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I did have some dimmed motion activated lights. I'm obviously
not an expert with Z wave and HC2 (yet!) as I don't have that system yet.
Steve's probably the guy for that. But as far as I can see having studied
the docs and had a look at Steve's system,
I think we could reproduce the same functionality pretty easily. Fibaro
motion detector, dimmer module and HC2. The motion detector even has built
in light level sensor!</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I think I'll miss the flexibility of the CBus DLT's and being
able to control any lamp or other connected device (via Kevin's CBus to
home vision gateway) from any DLT button. I think the HC2 and in-switch
dimmers etc will get close enough for me though
at a fraction of the cost of the CBus system. Shame it's impractical to
take it out and with me when I move!</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Cheers,</div>

<div>Hi Paul,
<div>Out of interest which is your most used cbus functionality that
you can reproduce with zwave and the hc2 controller?</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I think (apologies if I have this wrong) that you were the
inspiration for my 'dimmed at night motion activated bathroom light' that I
did on the cheap using a mains timer, mains PIR and dimmer switch in a
parallel circuit.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I've since moved house and dearly miss that functionality so
wondering if there's a way to do it with a switch that goes through a logic
controller IE hc2 or ideally Indigo on the mac before turning on the
light.&nbsp;</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Can the MCO touch switches be used to just send a zwave signal
when pressed or do they have to be connected to a light/load?</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Guess my thinking is I could have a zwave dimmer module on a
switch that's permanently on and have it controlled by a MCO touch switch
and logic within the controller or indigo.</div>
