Unfortunately the new house builder (nice house, plot and location but
stan=
dard big developer) won't entertain any form of deviation or extra wiring

f any sort :( I do see several systems don't need a neutral though.

The thing to remember with alot of the Z-Wave solutions is they require
Live and Neutral to the module, this typically precludes them from being
installed behind a 'normal' UK light switch.
