Have you watched a TV at that height before?
I know lots of people do fit them there but IMHO they are way too high for
comfortable viewing, unless you sit a *long* way back.

I would also suggest you don't run them down the inside of the chimney.
If you still want the TV on the chimney breast I'd route the cables to the
floor void of the room upstairs then chase out the wall from ceiling to
behind the TV and fit some large x-section trunking. 1x for power and 1x
for AV cabling.
I'd also make sure you can switch off the power to the TV without having to
reach behind it, just in case.

Finally, a 4" core drill will make a *huge* hole compared to the
cables you
need to run - you can get away with much smaller access holes. It's amazing
how small a hole vermin can get through - no point in making it easy for
them either.

I did something similar with a TV (without the chimney) so will dig out the
photos.
