RE: Scottish Power Unifi

Hi Joseph,

Good work, sadly I can=E2=80=99t help you as I don=E2=80=99t=
have a unifi.

Looking at your explanation at the end, for the 002900=
=E2=80=A6

The 0x00 is probably a known start value

The 0x29 is the number=
of bytes in the packet =E2=80=93 1. The -1 bit may relate to the final byt=
e being a check value although no obvious schemes jump out at me as the
val=
ue is either 0x00, 0x01 or 0x11.

It would be interesting if you can lea=
ve it running and see if the 0x00 byte after the 0x29 gets incremented (I
s=
uspect it will).

Cheers,

Michael

Hi all,

I've=
published what I found out here:

Unfortunately I never man=
aged to get hold of a unit that was linked to
the scottish power website, =
so couldn't reverse engineer the protocol
for controlling the sockets.
