When I watched the Apple launch yesterday it did seem like they were
suggesting the Iphone 5 would be withdrawn as the 5C is effectively the
same
device (although without a 64GB version). So I guess from now on they'll
only be available as warranty or out-of-warranty replacements from Apple
and
from any other vendor that still has stock to shift.

This post is not meant to arouse the Apple/Android flame war...
So the new iPhones were revealed yesterday, the 5S & 5C. What has
happened
to the "old" 5? It's disappeared from the Apple store, does this
mean Apple
will o longer sell it? The 4S is still available, however.
Was on the verge of buying a "5", then held off as expecting the
price to
fall when the 5S/C were announced, but now it's disappeared altogether.
I know there are still some on Amazon, etc. but is this "normal"
for apple?
will it reappear "soon" or has it gone for good?
