I did this a month or so ago on holiday - the onsite wifi was both
expensive and tied to a single device.

In my case I linked a
http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/hometheater/networking-for-home-theater-and-gaming/WNCE2001.aspxthat
connected to the site wifi with a cheap wifi router

Worked a treat!
