<p>Are the reasons its better / more flexible to cable to switch
first that it means there is a neutral at the switch plate so wiring wall
panels / touch screens etc would be easier if
required?</p><p>Also good point on round pin sockets where
required.<br></p><p>On the rating of the cat5 - yes I was
going to suggest cbus cable for exactly that reason.</p><p>I
don&#39;t think he will go as far as putting any relay etc in
place.&nbsp; <br></p><p style="color:rgb(0, 0,

sans-serif;background-color:transparent;font-style:normal;">He can
spec / price the cabling with an electrical contractor and leave options
open for customers.</p><p style="color:rgb(0, 0,

on
the mains side I&#39;d mainly thought of&nbsp; lighting, for
curtain / blinds is a radial cable to the curtain pole / pelmet area
best?&nbsp; <br></p><p style="color:rgb(0, 0,

sans-serif;background-color:transparent;font-style:normal;">Do
powered curtain tracks run from mains withe a transformer / wall wart or
expect LV?&nbsp; Thinking the current requirements hence cable spec
would be different.</p><p style="color:rgb(0, 0,
0);font-size:13px;font-family:arial, helvetica, clean,
sans-serif;background-color:transparent;font-style:normal;">Leave
control to RF or also put a cat5 in for control?</p>Thanks<p
