I've been waiting for my estimote pre-order to arrive for some time for

ollers is their lack of positional awareness and hence the number of taps

To that end, since moving to Indigo (thanks to Mark's great intro) I've
bee=
n working on a custom iOS app for my home which will use BLE to
automatical=
ly navigate to the correct views. There are a couple of "virtual
sensors" =
about which enable you to do some testing if you have a spare iOS device
or=
two. Moreover, since Indigo now provides me with a centralised model of t=
he house I can accurately depict the status of all aspects of the home at
a=
reasonable price point.
I would also agree that the next obvious step is appropriate statistical
an=
alysis of actions within the home to create a picture of common
actions/beh=
aviours. Both for very accurate replay when the house is unoccupied but
al=
so to start to anticipate the occupants needs. I was talking about this
wi=
th Mark Harrison a decade ago and I feel like I'm getting ever closer.
