I recall I had some annoyances with access to shares on my QNAP NAS with
va=
rious devices... You can go into the share setup on the NAS and set the
aut=
hentication requirements to allow anonymous access, which should allow
your=
clients to access the shares without username/password requirements... Pro=
vided you aren't worried about the security implications of such...
