I would have thought so too but I think some of the assumptions must

e the efficiency of the heating system as a whole as I mentioned.
Unless the difference is extreme (which it may be I suppose if the

is empty all day) I think you will find it hard to get conclusive figures =
since the heat-loss is so dependent on the outside temperature which has

en varying quite a lot recently. I did once briefly look at "degree
days" (=

management.pdf) which is a method of allowing for external temperatures
and=
might be worth investigating.

I'd love to hear what you find out though...
