Cheap and/or easy way to get discrete codes onto a learning remote

Howdy,

USB UIRT is an option, so is a JP1 remote, but I just want an easy way
to blast some codes from remotecentral at my learning remote.

It's an old MX500, and I do have the clone box for these. I've even
used it in the past to hack in some codes, but I'm getting old and lazy
and want something that "just works"(tm).

Oh, and yes, I do have a new 46" TV - Samsung UE46F5000. It's reputed
to have some discrete codes, and I could do with using one or two.

Regards
