Re: Drilling Blanking Plates?

Hi,
=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 First put tape on and mark out where you want to
d=
rill. Tape helps prevent the drill from skipping of to the side. Drill a
sm=
all pilot hole first, say 2 mm. Then drill to the size.=C2=A0

Subject: [ukha_d] Drilling Blanking Plates?

=C2=A0 =C2=A0=C2=A0

I want to fit a number of small diameter momentary switches onto double
gan=
g
blanking plates, in order to operate the latching relays that will switch
m=
y
lighting circuits.

The blanking plates seem to be made from fairly tough plastic and I'm just
wondering how best to drill them
It has occurred to me to try a tile drill, but I haven't tried that yet.

ISTR that this subject has been raised before but I can't find anything
relevant in the archives.

Has anybody got any suggestions please, other than don't try it :-) ?

Thanks

Tracey
