They have different content selections, but both of those online
services
suffer from the same "no recent blockbusters" problem... Which is
annoying
with LoveFilm, since if you also have the physical DVD by post subscription
too, that DOES have all the very latest titles the same day they are
released on DVD/BluRay... Another option you might want to consider is
AppleTV... that does have the very latest movie titles available online the
same day as release on DVD, all in full HD. there's no monthly sub option,
it's purely a pay as you watch model, which may be better or worse,
depending on how much/how often you watch... The very latest movie titles
from iTunes are usually about =A34.49 to stream, compared to (IIRC =A35.99

month for Netflix/LoveFilm)... As an aside, AppleTV does have the Netflix
client built in too, so you can use an appleTV as a rather nifty Netflix
client. Older Apple TV's were easily jail broken to allow other clients

as Plex, XBMC, to mention a few, but the very latest AppleTV - which is all
you can buy new from Apple now, has not yet been jailbroken, although a
working jailbreak is anticipated soon... If that's important to you, then
buy a pre-owned version 2 ATV from eBay etc...

Hi All,

Currently trying to decide between netflix and lovefilm as our on-line
content provider, so a couple of questions

1 - I've be interested in a definitive list of what each offer (netflix for
example only lists some of their content)
2 - Any experiences / recommendations.
