Personally I wouldn't scrimp on CAT5E/6 cable for my own house. With

it it's such a pain running cables the cost of the cable is insignificant

ompared to the banged heads and skinned knuckles! I've only used branded
ca=
bles like Krone/ADC and Clipsal pink - plus, even nearing =A3100 for 300m

s pretty negligible compared to the cumulative price of HA bits and bobs.

ne thing to watch for though is the cable size - I did once buy a drum of
A=
DC CAT6A stuff and it's really thick.
