RE: Linux Home Automation options

Thanks Kevin

I found a wikipedia site listing all the available HA software and I found
a
few options so I will have a download this week and try them out. I only
found one or two that support ZWave but the interesting part is that quite
a
few are open source which is nice.

I saw the issue of HS3 and I was reluctant to switch. I also have HS Touch
but unhappy with the fact that it keeps using up connections due to a bug
and nothing has been fixed for months now. It was expensive so I am
unwilling to spend anymore with Homeseer at the current time.

Dave.

It's intended that HomeSeer 3 will run on Linux (Mono ?) , although
there isn't a version available in the current public beta. It's
likely to be quite a fragile platform for a while though until it
matures and plugins from HS2 need re-writing for HS3.
