OK, that's interesting. I've looked at the RFXCom before but never
justified the cost.. now might be the time.

So, I would need an RFXtrx433 and a RFXMeter. Does the RFXMeter come with
any sensors or do I have to buy them too.

Looking at it, I wonder if the RFXMeter with 1 RFXPwr module might work..
my only worry would be if the panels were not generating any electricity,
would it measure me electricity going towards the panel (since I would need
to put it after the invertor).

In Homeseer, is there a suitable plugin that allows all this data to be
logged/charted?
