I have messed around with this myself and settled on a lot of these 5
watt
ones:

I have this for the 8 recessed ceiling lights in my kitchen, and the light
is fine.Its a bit focused, and narrower angled but it works in my setup. I
wonder how they be in a ceiling lamp bar as spotlights, probably ok.
I tried some wider angle ones and found them both a bit dim and too
yellow. Some of the Phillips lights were good too, I found they had a
slight pinkish tinge.
