Re: Re: MK grid switches

Thanks all,

I'll put my replies in one email to save (virtual) paper ;)

Steve, those Click Mode Mini Grid switches look good as well, and
better priced. If I can't get along with MK, then I'll fall back on
those.

Rob, the term mono-stable and bi-stable means nothing to me, but using
parameter 17 I was able to use the on/off/on switch. What I couldn't
discover was a way to set a device parameter such that it would
operate in a on/off/off way (the centre off is btw not a real off, it
is just the state the switch returns to). Against your recommendation
I have bought a single K4900 though, as it was recommended on the irc
channel. It was the cheaper of the two, so worst come to worse, I'll
be =A33.50 out of pocket.

Pankaj, I have dry wall partition walls, so I have mounted the module
actually outside the backbox as there is plenty of space there. So I
can't really tell you if the module will fit in a 35mm backbox or not.
It will certainly be a challenge though!
