RE: Recording Internet traffic
Thanks Paul. My Sky router can only log the following apparently:
Include in Log
Use these checkboxes to determine which events are included in the log.
Checking all options will increase the size of the log, so it is good
practice to disable any events which are not really required.
. Attempted access to blocked sites - If checked, attempted
Internet
accesses which were blocked are logged.
. Connections to the Web-based interface of this Router - If
checked, this will log connections TO this Router, rather than through this
Router to the Internet.
. Router operation - If checked, other Router operations (not
covered by the selections above) will be logged.

What do you mean "recording"?? - just logging uploads/downloads
& URLs
visited, or something more...
My first thought would be to route your traffic through a proxy server
& log
everything there... - in fact, does your broadband router have any such
logging capability built in? - many routers can be configured to log events
to an external syslog server...

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a way of recording everything that is sent
&
received on our Internet at home?
Thanks
D.
