See... this is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about,
illustrating
perfectly why a Wintel PC is a crap choice for the head-end device... I
don't want to be dealing with this kind of cr@p, having spend the best part
of =A3300 on a PC...

One problem with the Acer Revo is that the HDMI output is 2 channel only
(due to a hardware restiction i believe) and with Win7 you can only output
audio to one output, so you can't do HDMI and optical at the same time.

allow full digital audio to both the HDMI and optical.
