What about ATV2 with Plex?.... - I guess that's another choice worth
looking
at...

Is it possible to install both XBMC *and* Plex concurrently I wonder?

Perhaps I should go get a an ATV2 to at least play with & explore these
options...

ATV2 with xbmc is something I was considering but as the hardware is 720p
max I've ruled that one out

I'm using an acer revo, windows 7, xbmc and a wireless remote and as the PC
just sleeps when not in use startup time is pretty minimal

Is it perfect? No, but until I find something better it will have to do

My files are either iso for dvd's or mkv for bluray
