A cheap Flipcam (or something similar) in a Ziplock bag?

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] - camera on a stick
Hi all,
Apologies for the off topic but it is a techy question after all.
Has anyone ever used or got an idea for a camera on a stick?
Basically I need to investigate a foul sewer drainpipe and am looking for a
less expensive way than paying for a full cctv survey. Given the nature of
where I'll be sending the gizmo, I'm not looking for something expensive
but more towards the disposable end of the scale so that I don't mind if I
lose it or throw it if it gets too mucky.
The stick (or my drain rods) will have to go about 8ft before I need to be
able to turn left and right so I'm guessing a long lead or a self contained
idea will be needed.
That should get the minds ticking for a Wednesday afternoon.
Brad
