You can get some small wall plugs (~20mm long) with a narrow hole
specially=
designed for cable clip pins to be nailed into - I got a box from my local=
electrical wholesaler. They may be more suitable for clips for, say, 1mm2 =
or 1.5mm2 cable though, rather than the ones you have.
