More Smart Home goodness from Korean electronics giants, LG with
today's announcement of their new range of "THINQ Technology"
appliances. Connected to a smart grid meter the system schedules the
washing machine to run at the most economical times whilst grabbing
updates for it and the oven via the Internet for added features.
Remote diagnostics and control via a computer or tablet is available
too and LG's upcoming Hom-Bot automated vacuum cleaner will come
equipped with a camera to monitor your home and will even feed your
pets...
