Smart meters
After reading Brian's message, I did a little reading on First Utility's
web site.
My electricity meter is located inside the house and the gas meter box is a
ground level one located about 5m away from the elecrticity meter
First Utility say
"Where the gas meter is mounted in an outside ground meter box. Our
smart metering system requires a dry installation above ground. We can
normally modify the current meter box but you may incur an additional
charge.
I'm intrigued to know how they would modify the existing ground level meter
box .
Has anybody on the list got experience of this?
