Hi Chris

In my case virgin are fibre to the cabinet and then coax to the house. 
Aft=
er a mini digger incident on the drive I had to get them out to replace
tha=
t cable but the installers were more than happy to terminate on the house
w=
all and leave the rest to me so I just pointed to where I wanted the box.

Then I just ran another cable (left over from the install) to node zero.
Th=
e coax then has a splitter with one output to the STB and the other to the

modem.
